With the start of 2026, preparations for the new term have officially begun at REDAM. The newly appointed director of our center, Assist. Prof. Nagehan Pakdamar Tüzgen, conducted a comprehensive review at the center and received detailed information from Clinical Psychologist Mehmet Büyükçorak regarding the current operations and ongoing activities.

During the evaluation process, REDAM’s institutional role within the university, the guidance and counseling services offered to its target audience, and the priorities for the upcoming term were discussed. Emphasis was placed on strengthening a more accessible, sustainable, and holistic counseling structure that supports students’ academic and developmental processes.
As part of the new term planning, discussions focused on establishing a broader engagement model across the university, diversifying psychoeducational programs, developing thematic areas of work, and supporting academic advising processes. In addition, efforts to strengthen the integration of practice and research, enhance the center’s scientific productivity, and establish a more systematic institutional structure were also addressed.
Through the initiatives planned for the new term, REDAM aims to further strengthen its institutional capacity in the field of guidance and counseling and advance its student-centered service approach.
