About Us

Psychological Counseling and Educational Research and Application Center (REDAM) is affiliated with Ibn Haldun University, dedicated to providing scientifically grounded psychological counseling and guidance services. Our Objectives
Ibn Haldun University has a distinguished and international campus profile aligned with its vision as a research university. A high proportion of graduate students, a multicultural academic environment, and a strong faculty create significant intellectual and academic potential for students.

University years are considered a critical developmental period during which individuals not only advance academically but also shape their life orientations and construct adult roles. While this period offers important opportunities, it also involves areas of risk related to adjustment, continuity, and direction that require careful attention.

In this context, the objectives of REDAM include:

Supporting students in sustaining their academic potential
Facilitating healthy transitions into adulthood
Promoting student development aligned with the university’s institutional and academic goals
Providing a comprehensive counseling model based on screening, preventive, and developmental support approaches
The primary target group of the center consists of Ibn Haldun University students. Academic staff, academic advisors, and administrative units are also considered key collaborators who help strengthen the support network surrounding students.

In addition, the center prioritizes supporting practicum and internship processes of Guidance and Psychological Counseling students by functioning as a bridge between university education and professional practice.
