REDAM Hosted Representatives from the Healthy Living Centre

REDAM hosted representatives from the Healthy Living Centre, part of the Başakşehir District Health Directorate, at our university on 5–6 October 2026. Over the course of two days, information about the services offered by both organisations was provided to our students at the SHM and REDAM information stands set up at the entrance to the Student Centre building.
At the information stands, our students had the opportunity to learn about the Healthy Living Centres, which have become widespread in every district in recent years, and to put their questions directly to the experts. The representatives explained that the centres provide services based on a holistic approach to the protection and promotion of health. It was emphasised that the Healthy Life Centres are staffed by specialists from various fields, such as psychologists/psychological counsellors, social workers, child development specialists and dietitians, and that appointments for these services can be booked via the MHRS system.
At the REDAM stand, our students were provided with information about the guidance and psychological counselling services offered by our centre, the application processes, and the events to be organised throughout the term. The event served as an important opportunity for our students to familiarise themselves with the support resources available to them both on and off campus.
We would like to thank the Başakşehir District Health Directorate and the Healthy Life Centre team for their contributions to the open days.
